The Paris 2024 - Comité d'organisation des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques de 2024 opening ceremony was a resounding success, showcasing France's immense capabilities on a global stage. Despite the pouring rain, the innovative use of the River Seine was praised worldwide for its creativity and grandeur. Described as "joyful, daring, and atypical," the ceremony demonstrated France's ability to inspire and lead. The success of this event instills hope that our country's greatness will be recognized amidst prevailing negative perceptions. France, a global leader in various sectors, continues to display strength and resilience, maintaining significant influence within the European Union and globally. These Olympic Games symbolize unity and national pride, countering divisive rhetoric and actions of extremists. The event's success threatens their agendas by showcasing France's potential when united, further marginalizing extremist influences and reinforcing collective strength.Despite media focus on decline, events like the Paris 2024 Olympic Games reveal the true extent of France's capabilities. 📢 Allianz wants to world to GET READY for Paris 2024. What we need is the Olympic Movement to GET READY for human rights for athletes. Allianz you have a role to play if you’re truly committed to supporting athletes - call on the International Olympic Committee – IOC and International Paralympic Committee to fulfil human rights standards for athletes. That includes: fair compensation, freedom of expression and the right to organise. Compelling perspective on how the Paris 2024 Olympics embody the power of cultural transformation. France's journey from a 1960s sporting crisis to becoming a global sports powerhouse teaches us invaluable lessons about embedding lasting change. Just as France reshaped its national identity through sport, businesses can draw inspiration from this evolution. It reminds us that meaningful cultural change requires vision, persistence, and a commitment to long-term goals. For leaders and managers, embracing these principles can drive profound and enduring transformation within organizations, proving that resilience and strategic focus are key to achieving lasting impact.

🚫 It won't be easy for Russian and Belarusian athletes in Paris 2024.❌ No Opening Ceremony parade. ❌ No national flags, anthems, colors or other identifiers.🛑 The International Olympic Committee (#IOC) has made several key decisions regarding the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in light of the ongoing war in #Ukraine 🇺🇦. 🚨 Key Decisions and Stipulations◾ Independent Neutral Athlete Eligibility Review Panel (AINERP)The IOC has established this #panel to independently assess the eligibility of individual Russian and Belarusian athletes seeking to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics. ◾ AIN Protocol▪ AINs will compete under a designated neutral #flag and #anthem. 🏴 ▪ Medals won by AINs will not contribute to the overall medal count of any National Olympic Committee (NOC). 🎖🚫 ◾Ceremonies:▪ AINs will not participate in the traditional parade of teams during the Opening Ceremony. 🚫 ▪ A decision regarding AIN participation in the Closing Ceremony will be made later.▪ Victory Ceremonies:Should an AIN win a medal, the AIN flag will be flown, and the AIN anthem will be played.🚨 Strict Eligibility Requirements: ◾The IOC has reiterated their strict eligibility requirements for AINs:▪ AINs must compete as individuals with no team representation. 🚫 ▪ Athletes or support personnel actively supporting the war will be ineligible. 🚫 ▪ Athletes or personnel contracted with the Russian or Belarusian #military or national security agencies will be ineligible. 🚨 Sanctions Remain: ◾Sanctions against the Russian and Belarusian states and governments will remain in place. This means:▪ No flags, anthems, colors, or other national identifiers of Russia or Belarus will be displayed.🚫 ▪ No Russian or Belarusian #government or state #officials will receive invitations or accreditations. 🚫 --➡ My opinion: right direction but...the above list is rather a consequence of the wrong decision to allow any form of participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the #Olympic 2024.

The global discussion around the organization of the Paris Olympics is intense. Issues such as the mockery of biblical themes, athletes falling ill after contact with the Seine's water, and many other concerns are currently at the forefront. In my opinion, it is crucial to distinguish the incompetence of the Olympic Committee in France and all approving parties from the value of the entire French nation. Events are the responsibility of a group of people, not an entire nation. A handful of decision-makers do not represent the whole.French citizens, you continue to be as remarkable as ever. Your contributions to the world, from Céline Dion to music, fashion, beauty, and more, remain invaluable. The individuals responsible for the organizational issues of the Paris Olympics must be held accountable and replaced. Hopefully, this will happen soon.#Paris2024 #France #Olympics2024

As we eagerly anticipate the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, let’s take a moment to reflect on the iconic symbol that embodies the spirit of the Games: the Olympic Symbol (https://lnkd.in/eCxyfrCV). This powerful emblem, composed of five interlaced rings: blue, yellow, black, green and red, represents the union of the five continents and the meeting of athletes from throughout the world at the Games.Did you know that World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO (https://lnkd.in/eeSkKCFr) administers the Nairobi Treaty on the Protection of the Olympic Symbol?Adopted in Nairobi on September 26, 1981, this treaty obliges Contracting Parties to prohibit any commercial use of the Olympic Symbol and to refuse or invalidate the registration of any mark containing or consisting of it, unless authorized by the International Olympic Committee. As we look forward to Paris 2024, let's celebrate not only the incredible athletes who will compete but also the Nairobi Treaty. The Treaty is a true testament to international cooperation and respect for intellectual property, reflecting the Olympic values of excellence, respect and friendship.#OlympicGames #Paris2024 #OlympicsParis #OlympicSymbol #WIPO #NairobiTreaty #IOC

🔥🇱🇺 The recent performance of the Luxembourgish national football team is an incredible source of inspiration for me. In a country with fewer than a million inhabitants, more often recognized for its financial sector than its sporting achievements, watching this team patiently build and set up a game that allows them to rival giants like Portugal or Iceland is phenomenal. 🌟 🤫A little-known anecdote: during a training session, the Luxembourgish players adopted a stray cat that had ventured onto their pitch, naming it “Leo” in homage to their lionhearted team spirit. Leo is now their unofficial mascot, reminding the team that with determination, anything is possible. 👍 And the fact that Luxembourg is still in the running to qualify for the Euro, currently second in its group behind Portugal, speaks volumes. At Steel Shed Solutions, we want to follow and be inspired by this wonderful example. What small victories inspire you to see the bigger picture? 💪 #Resilience #Performance #LuxembourgStrongFédération Luxembourgeoise de Football FJD - Fédération des Jeunes Dirigeants d’Entreprise de LuxembourgUEFA EURO 2024
